T-slot aluminum extrusion comprises a large family of profiles with inclined groove flanks running down each side. Thanks to their strength, durability, and versatility, aluminum extrusion profiles offer great benefits over steel for a wide array of applications.

Strength

Aluminum’s superior weight-to-strength ratio makes our profiles a natural choice over steel channels or bars. The T-slot grooves ensure that connections and fasteners take advantage of the controlled elastic deformation, maximizing the stability and strength of each connection without the need to weld.

Extruded aluminum delivers the strength you need for your structural design application.

Durability

Our T-slotted profiles are slow-extruded to maintain a high straightness tolerance. This enables for linear motion capabilities and elevates the overall quality of assemblies.

T Slot aluminum is tough enough for most structural framing applications. Unlike steel, aluminum will not rust. The anodized coating on our extruded aluminum offers a permanent scratch resistant finish that will last. Without the worry of rust, there is no need to prime or paint the framing.

Versatility

The T-slot construction easily accommodates a wide range of fasteners and attachments to match your specifications. These T-slot grooves offer easy repositioning of connections, as well as the addition of additional supports. This enables solutions from MB Kit to easily accommodate process improvements as equipment is made safer, more efficient, or expanded upon.

A variety of slot sizes and extrusion dimensions, combined with options for sharper edges, radius profiles, and closed grooves, allows for the construction of an array of structures. From simple work benches and enclosures to complex belt-driven linear actuators, aluminum extrusion profiles get the job done.

We offer three primary lines of aluminum extrusions for maximum design flexibility:

Profile 5, with a 5-mm T-slot

Profile 6, with a 6-mm T-slot

Profile 8, with an 8-mm T-slot
